It all started back in 1979 when the four Vinsen brothers - Mike, Ian, Richard and David - set up a motorcycle shop called "MIKE VINSEN SUZUKI" and soon developed it into one of Auckland's most successful and best known shops. In 1981, they expanded the business to deal in motor vehicles and in 1982 MIKE VINSEN MOTORS LTD was formed.

We have been importing our own vehicles from Japan since 1989. That builds strong relationships with our agents in Japan, which insuring only the best quality vehicles end up at Mike Vinsen Motors.

All our direct imports are AA complied, ODO Certified and presented to you fully serviced.

Our huge selection of over 100 vehicles, including cars, vans, 4WDs and light commercials - both petrol and diesel - always makes us very popular with potential customers. If we don't have it in stock, we can always source it - from new cars to exotic imports.

Of course, we always have a few motorcycles in stock and ... yes, we still trade bikes!
